Fellow NABSters:

I recently received the below solicitation from YO! Disability Pride, a
disability rights group based in California. They are partnering with Google
to collect data on how tech-savvy students with disabilities use various
access technologies in our daily lives. Please read the request below and
consider taking part in this very brief survey (it only took me about 10
minutes to complete.) I hope the information which is gained from this
survey will generate a better understanding among technology developers
about how to best serve blind students. Let's show this mainstream
disability group what NABS is all about!

> YO! Disabled and Proud is seeking youth with disabilities between the ages
of 16 - 25 who use everyday technology (smart phone, tablet, etc.) to take a
short survey. We are planning an upcoming event and want to highlight the
variety of ways youth with disabilities use their technology to assist them
with their disability needs.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
