Greetings to all attending the 41st state convention located at the
Holiday Inn, 151 Route 72 East in Manahawkin.
I have pasted the lunch and dinner menus for THE MAINLAND RESTAURANT.
For those that have made hotel reservations, your breakfast is included and
will be served in the Ballroom and not in the restaurant for Friday,
Saturday and Sunday.
For those that made room reservations for Wednesday, breakfast will be
available in THE MAINLAND RESTAURANT on Thursday morning.
When you register at the front desk, coupons for breakfast will be
available.

MENU
Before placing your order,
please inform your server if a person in your party
has a food allergy or dietary restriction.
Not all ingredients are listed on the menu.
An Important note:
At our outdoor Beer Garden,
there is NO TABLE SERVICE.
Guests order drinks at the bar
and food from our Beer Garden Menu outside at the hut.
Table numbers are distributed and food runners find
your table and bring your food to you.
APPETIZERS
WINGS $8. - 6 crispy chicken wings tossed in your choice of sauce, served
with blue cheese and celery. (Choose classic buffalo, Kentucky bourbon, or
teriyaki sauce.)
QUESADILLA. (“KESS-A-DE-YAS”) $7. Grilled tortilla filled with a blend of
cheeses, served with salsa, street corn and sour cream. (If you wish, you
can add chicken for an extra $3, add beef, or shrimp for an extra $4 each).
HOUSE-MADE CHICKEN STRIPS $8. Tender chicken breast, hand breaded, then
fried until golden brown, served with a choice of honey mustard or BBQ
sauce.
HOT PRETZELS WITH DIP $5. Pub-style sea-salted pretzels, served with
cheddar-beer sauce for dipping.
HUMMUS WITH PITA BREAD $7. Hand mashed chickpeas seasoned with sea salt,
fresh squeezed lemon and topped with house made pesto, served with warm pita
wedges, fresh cut veggies, crumbled feta cheese and olives.
CHILI POTATO SKINS $7. Crispy potato skins topped with chili and
cheddar jack cheese, served with sour cream.
TEMPURA SHRIMP $11. Flash-fried tempura breaded shrimp, served over a bed
of coleslaw with a sweet soy sauce.
BROCCOLI BITES $7. Fresh cut broccoli, dipped in melted cheese, then
flash-fried, served with a ranch dipping sauce.

MAINLAND NACHOS $8. Crispy tortillas, mainland chili, cheddar jack cheese,
pico de gallo, and shredded lettuce, served with salsa, street corn and sour

SALAD GREENS.
MAINLAND CHOPPED SALAD $9. Mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots,
shredded cheddar cheese, toasted almonds, and herbed croutons.
(If you wish, you may add chicken for an extra $3, or add beef or shrimp for
an extra $4 each).
CAESAR SALAD $8. Hearts of romaine, served with herbed croutons and shaved
parmesan cheese. (If you wish, you may add chicken for an extra $3, or add
beef or shrimp for an extra $4 each).
WEDGE $9. A classic wedge of fresh iceberg lettuce, crumbled blue cheese,
crispy bacon, diced tomatoes with red onions and drizzled with blue cheese
dressing.
DRESSINGS: Your choice of vinaigrette, blue cheese, honey mustard, thousand
island, ranch or Caesar dressing.

SPECIALS – (APPETIZERS).
CRAB QUESADILLA $14. Flame-grilled flour tortilla filled with jumbo lump
crab, onion, diced tomato, pepper jack cheese and served with black bean
puree.
DRUNKEN CLAMS $12. One dozen little neck clams, steamed with beer and
garden herbs served with garlic toast points, and corn on the cob.
MAINLAND MUSSELS $11. Fresh mussels, sautéed in a garlic, butter and
white wine sauce, diced tomatoes, and garden herbs served with garlic toast
points.
SHRIMP COCKTAIL $12. Jumbo shrimp cooked until tender, peeled, deveined
and served with our zesty house cocktail sauce and lemon wedges.
SPECIALS – (ON BREAD).
SOFT SHELL CRAB – (Market Price). Sautéed soft shell crab, with lettuce,
tomato, pickled onions, lemon mustard remoulade and served on a toasted bun.
MAINLAND FISH TACOS $16. Three crispy codfish filets, Mexican coleslaw,
queso fresco, with mild chipotle sauce on soft corn tortillas and served
with street corn.
SLOW ROASTED NY STRIP $16. Shaved, slow-roasted NY strip steak,
beer-carmelized-onions with Swiss cheese, served on a toasted ciabatta.

SEAFOOD SAN MARINO $26. Mussels, clams, shrimp, sea scallops, calamari,
plum tomatoes, garlic and garden herbs in a light seafood broth over angel
hair pasta.
PICNIC FRIED CHICKEN $18. House-made crunchy battered chicken, Mainland
coleslaw and French fries.
SOFT SHELL CRAB (Market Price). Two pan-fried soft shell crabs, with a
lime-mustard reduction sauce over spinach.
SHRIMP AND CHICKEN STIR FRY $18. Tender chicken and jumbo shrimp, sautéed
with an Asian vegetable medley and a chipotle/teriyaki glaze over steamed
white rice.
GRILLED T BONE $ 28. An 18-ounce grilled T bone steak, with herbed,
garlic butter, sautéed onions, potato puree with choice of 1 side dish.

ON BREAD. – All served with French fries, onion rings, or coleslaw.
GRILLED CHEESE $8. Sliced and seared buttered bread with melted cheddar,
American, and Swiss cheese on sourdough bread. (Or, if you prefer, you may
also select Mainland Style. Add bacon, tomato, and pickles for an extra
$2).
CLASSIC B-L-T. $8. Crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on sourdough
bread.
FRIED FLOUNDER $12. Hand battered filet, flash-fried and served with
lettuce, tomato, and rémoulade on a toasted bun.
CALIFORNIA TURKEY CLUB $9. Turkey, Swiss cheese, crispy bacon, avocado,
tomato, mixed greens, sun-dried tomato aioli on sourdough bread.
MAINLAND STEAK $14. Beef tenderloin grilled with peppers, onions,
mushrooms, and melted provolone, finished with house made whiskey au-jus
on ciabatta bread.
CHICKEN CAESAR WRAP $11. Grilled chicken, hearts of romaine lettuce,
shaved parmesan cheese and Caesar dressing.
VEGGIE WRAP $10. Assortment of sautéed mixed vegetables with lettuce,
tomato and aioli.
MARGHERITA FLATBREAD $8. Oven-dried tomatoes, Italian cheese blend,
mozzarella and basil.

FISH AND CHIPS $12. Beer-battered cod fish, flash-fried with malt vinegar
and tartar sauce for dipping and served with Mainland French fries and
coleslaw. (Please note: choice of sides not included with Fish and Chips).
CRISPY SALMON, $18. Pan-seared salmon brushed with a sweet sesame sauce and
served over a bed of sautéed bok choy.
WHISKEY SIRLOIN $24. Char-broiled, USDA choice sirloin finished with our
house made whiskey au jus.
HERB ROASTED CHICKEN $18. Oven roasted chicken with lemon,
fresh herbs and finished with a honey-citrus pepper sauce.
PASTA
served with a side salad and garlic toast points.
GARDEN PENNE $12. Sautéed garden vegetables, penne pasta tossed with
roasted red peppers and pesto, topped with shaved Parmesan cheese. (If you’d
like, you may add chicken for an extra $3, or add shrimp or salmon for an
additional $5 each).
CHICKEN FETTUCCINE $15. Grilled chicken breast, mushrooms, spinach and
roasted red peppers in a creamy white wine sauce.

BUILD YOUR OWN BURGER $11. Burgers are fresh and cooked to order. Please
choose from the following:

#2. Select 1 CHEESE. – American, cheddar, Swiss, mozzarella, cheddar jack
or provolone.
#3. Select up to 4 TOPPINGS. – Lettuce, tomato, onion, bacon, pickles,
jalapenos, guacamole or red peppers.
#4. PREMIUM TOPPINGS are available. – (Add an extra $1 for each
premium topping). – mac and cheese, onion rings, fried pickles,

coleslaw dressing.

FRIED PICKLES $5. Cut into chips, then flash-fried and served with
house-made rémoulade.
MAC AND CHEESE $5. Pasta with a beer-cheese sauce, topped with
panko bread crumbs and then baked.

NY STYLE CHEESECAKE $6. Smooth, rich and creamy, made with fresh sour
cream and drenched with house-made berry compote.
