Sorry for the short notice however, if interested, please read and reply to the coordinator of this Sailing Experience scheduled for Sunday, October 1, 2017.
Many of our members have participated in events and activities sponsored by Michael Benson, Founder of the Visual Experience Foundation, At Large Chapter member and a participant in the Sports and Recreation Committee.

Joe,  Can you put this out to the membership. I want to give NJ NFB members first dibs. 


Sailing for Vision with the Life Boat of New Jersey

Visual Experience foundation in partnership with the Neptune Lions is sponsoring a Sailing for Vision day Sunday October 1st
Sailing and clamming in the Barneget Bay. We leave out of forked river NJ.
A relaxing experience of being out on The Spray a 50 foot sail boat. All you need is you. Lunch is provided and you get to take a turn steering the boat by the sound of the wind, learn to find clams with your feet, and enjoy the roasting of the clams we catch as we sail back to port.

We have a couple of openings for this trip and if the weather permits will do one one this season. Respond immediately if you can go. Access link can get you to a meeting point. We will discuss if your coming leaving between 9am and 10am and come back to port between 4pm and 6pm. we are at the mercy of the winds. fun fun fun experience.
