TIMES: 2:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m.

The New Jersey Transit Corporation (NJ TRANSIT) is conducting public
hearings to gather information and receive comments from interested parties
concerning programs developed pursuant to the Senior Citizen and Disabled
Resident Transportation Assistance Program (SCDRTAP) Act. A hearing will be
held in each geographic region in accordance with Section 5 of P.L. 1984
c.578 of SCDRTAP. Each hearing will have an afternoon and evening session.
The locations are Freehold, Westampton, and Newark. An Access Link para
transit update will NOT be provided at these hearings. Access Link holds
separate Customer Forums.

What does this mean?
Each county has a local para transit system that provides service under "The
Senior Citizen and Disabled Resident Transportation Assistance Program".
Seniors and disabled residents can register with their local para transit
system and make reservations to go to a doctor's office, hospital, food
shopping or various other stores and business locations within your county
even if there is no NJ Transit bus route. Days and times of service vary
from county to county.

Attend this hearing to ask questions or address any issues you are
experiencing. In order to assure that all members of the public are given an
opportunity to be heard, presentations and comments will be limited to five
minutes. Written comments for the record may be sent to Public Hearing
Comments 2018, New Jersey Transit Corporation, One Penn Plaza East, Newark,
New Jersey 07105-2246, or via email <mailto:publichearings at njtransit.com>
