Greetings to all chapter/division presidents!
I received the following from NFBNJ Student Division President, Jonathan
Zobek.

I wanted to provide to all chapter/division presidents to consider
participating and having as an agenda item.

Challenge:  Pennies from Heaven





The Gift of Giving





Living the life of your dreams includes  being  mindful of all the gifts you

have and reaching out to help others. You don't need to be rich to make your

money matter!  Next time you find a penny, or some spare change put in in a

jar and focus on the positive things in your life. The New Jersey

Association of Blind Students is asking you to JOIN THE CHALLENGE!



Start: March 1, 2019

End: May 31, 2019



Who: We are asking Chapters and Divisions of the National Federation of the

Blind of New Jersey and their friends and family to take the challenge.



How it works: Members bring their spare change to Chapters/Division Meetings

and give it to the Treasurer who will earmark the money for NJABS "Pennies

from Heaven Fund Raiser". The chapter/division who raises the most money

will be recognized by NJABS during the NFBNJ State Convention.



Money Raised: The money raised will help NJABS to continue their outreach

programs to help blind and vision impaired students in our state to develop

the skills they need to achieve their goals and participate actively in the

career of their choice and in their communities.



Upon conclusion of the challenge, please make all checks payable to NFBNJ

(in the memo, please write the following: Coin Challenge, Students) and mail

to Joe Ruffalo, 254 Spruce Street, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. Also, for those

wanting to offer a personal gift, please make checks payable to NFBNJ and

mail to the same address with the same annotation in the memo section.

we want and to transform dreams into reality!
