FYI, PSEG is offering reimbursement for anyone who lost power for more than 
72 hours up to $250 for food and $300 for medicine. Also, $5,000 if anyone 
knows a corporate account like a restaurant or business who lost food. Link

I hope everyone is safe and doing well. For those who lost power during the 
storm and had to throw away food in fridge and freezer, be aware that most 
home owner’s insurance policies cover for loss of food due to no power. 
Usually it does not count as a claim and your deductible does not apply. My 
insurance covers up to $500. Call your carrier and find out what your 
coverage is. Hope this helps.
