I'm pleased to let you know that on Thursday, June 10, New Jersey Governor
Phil Murphy signed our DeafBlind Awareness Week Proclamation! I've attached
the Proclamation as well as a poster (description of the poster is under
the graphic in the body of this email).

Several local events are being scheduled to celebrate DeafBlind Awareness
Week in New Jersey:

   - DB CAN NJ is hosting an accessible screening of *Feeling Through*, the
   Oscar-nominated short film starring Robert Tarango, a deafblind actor, on
   Friday, June 18, 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. Register at

   - DB CAN NJ and DBLNJ are sponsoring *This Is Us*, a kickoff to
   DeafBlind Awareness Week (info & registration below), Friday, June 25, 7:30
   - 8:50 p.m.
   - Eyes Like Mine is hosting DeafBlind Man Crush Mondays June 21 and 28
   and Woman Crush Wednesdays June 23 and 30
   - DB CAN NJ is hosting Classic Bingo for deafblind players Saturday,
   July 3, 10:30 a.m. - noon

and NY State COVID-19 guidelines, this should be someone you live with or
have a close relationship with. *Deafblind attendees must request CF at
time of registration. *DB CAN NJ will pay $40 to CFs who comply with the
invoice deadline; it is the CF’s responsibility to meet this deadline.
