*Registration now open for Senior and Deafblind Information Fair set for
Tuesday, June 8 from 10 Am to 1 PM*
This event will primarily focus on how the NFBNJ enhances the lives of
people who are blind, deafblind and visually impaired of all ages, and the
services and programs available through the NJ Department of Human
Services', Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CBVI).
We encourage people who are blind, deaf-blind, visually impaired, family
members, caregivers and service professionals to participate in this
informative free event.
*Date: Tuesday, June 8, 2021 / Time: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.*
Admission to this event which will be presented via Zoom is free, however,
registration, which includes opportunities for door prizes, is required.
(Relay Conference Captioning will be provided and Support Service Provider
(SSP) hours will not be deducted from monthly allotments)

Workshop set for Saturday, June 26 from 10 AM to 1 PM
Blind and Low Vision members of the NFBNJ can register now for our free
Technology Workshop being held h on June 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. You
bring your own brunch and we’ll provide worthwhile technology tips, tricks
and how-to's that will help you become more productive and independent.
The event is free and sponsored by the National Federation of the Blind of
New Jersey Technology Division. But you must register as participation is
limited. As in-person NFBNJ gatherings still are not possible, we’ll be
presenting using the Zoom platform. Your answers to the questions on the
registration form will help us tailor the training to meet your needs. At
this time, registration is limited to New Jersey residents.
Registrations will open June 12 for both members and nonmembers.

life trajectory. He went on to Harvard and Oxford and--among many other
accomplishments--he invented a compressed speech machine which speeds up
