Hello  – I hope you are doing great.  I want to let you know about a
webinar on Aug 27th your network may be interested in joining.  Would
appreciate if you can spreading the word about this since it’s an important

The  webinar is focusing on voting rights, nonpartisan voting resources and
understanding the Americans with Disability Act requirements.



The information being discussed will be helpful for older adults,
caregivers and individuals with disabilities.



We will have an ASL interpreter online with us.



*Topics to be discussed: *



·  Voting methods: Ways to vote and overcoming voting barriers and
challenges

·  Voting Rights and Options: For those in long-term care facilities, group
homes and for individuals with cognitive issues

·  Caregiver Assistance in Voting: Allowable assistance in voting booths
and mail-in voting support

·  Understanding the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA): What are the
ADA requirements and actions to take if a building is not following
necessary ADA regulations

·  Time for your questions which you may submit beforehand and inclusion of
American Sign Language interpreter
