Get Ready! The 2026 NFB of New Jersey State Convention is Coming. Live the
Life You Want -- Stronger Together: 50 Years of Progress and Possibilities.
Convention Dates and Location

The National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey will hold its 50th
Annual State Convention from Wednesday, October 21, through Sunday, October
25, 2026, at the Tropicana Atlantic City Hotel.

The South Jersey Shore Chapter of the NFB of New Jersey will serve as the
host chapter.
Hotel Guestroom Rates – Havana Tower

·       Wednesday, October 21: $79 room rate plus $20 resort fee (total $99
before taxes).

·       Thursday, October 22: $79 room rate plus $20 resort fee (total $99
before taxes).

·       Friday, October 23: $99 room rate plus $20 resort fee (total $119
before taxes).

·       Saturday, October 24: $149 room rate plus $20 resort fee (total
$169 before taxes).

·       Average nightly rate is approximately $101.50 before taxes and
government fees.
Hotel Reservation Information

·       Hotel reservation cut‑off date: October 7, 2026.

·       Rooms not reserved by this date will be released back to the hotel.

·       Reservations must be made directly with the hotel using the
convention reservation link or by phone.

·       Reservation instructions will be shared in a separate communication
and posted on the convention webpage.

·       A deposit equal to the first night’s room rate plus tax is required.
Tentative Convention Highlights

·       Wednesday: Bus arrivals around 4:00 PM, pre‑registration pickup,
and Meet the National Representative.

·       Thursday through Saturday: General sessions, seminars, Exhibit
Hall, technology seminar, auction, and entertainment.

·       Meals include breakfast buffets, Thursday pasta dinner, Friday
Federation Family Meal, and Saturday banquet (pre‑registration required).

·       Sunday: Affiliate focus group meeting and bus departure around noon.
Additional Information

·       A Quiet Room will be available throughout the convention.

·       Convention Camp will be available for pre‑registered youth ages 3
to 8 during general sessions and the banquet.

·       Pre‑registration is expected to open around July 15 and close
October 7 at 5:00 PM.

·       Informational meeting: Tuesday, April 14 at 7:00 PM.
