Subject: Uber and Lyft: Keep Sharing Your Experiences

Dear Rideshare Testing Participants:

Thank you for your ongoing participation in the NFB’s rideshare testing program <https://nfb.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=12626&qid=2381309> . Your reports are critical to our Uber and Lyft agreement monitoring efforts and are all reviewed by NFB’s legal team.

Please continue to report your rideshare experiences, both positive and negative, via our online questionnaire <https://nfb.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=12627&qid=2381309> , and share the link with others: www.nfb.org/rideshare-test <https://nfb.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=12628&qid=2381309> .

We continue to seek feedback for the immediate reasons identified below:

*	Uber: We have reason to believe that Uber is issuing warnings rather than terminating a large portion of drivers who knowingly deny rides to individuals with service animals. NFB may be heading back to court to address this. Your help here is critical; in particular, we need you to report situations in which you submitted a denial complaint with compelling evidence to Uber, and Uber still failed to terminate the driver.
*	Lyft: Driver denial rates have fluctuated between fourteen and twenty-five percent during our testing period. We would like to better identify Lyft’s denial rate, considering the company’s recent customer growth, and need a larger pool of data to help us do this. Without consistent reporting, data may inaccurately show that Lyft denials are declining, when in actuality it is the number of reports that is declining. Please note that we have raised concerns with Lyft about its CAPTCHA barriers and have identified a working phone number that testers can use to report service animal ride denials: 877-452-4866.

As President Riccobono noted in his September Presidential Release <https://nfb.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=12629&qid=2381309> , one denial from Uber or Lyft is one too many. Please share your rideshare experiences <https://nfb.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=12628&qid=2381309> today!

Sincerely,
