Blind and Low-Vision Voters: Please Share Your Experience

Some of us were able to vote privately and independently while others faced barriers to casting our votes. If you are a blind and low-vision voter who participated in the 2020 United States presidential election, please provide feedback on your voting experience on the National Federation of the Blind voter survey. Whether you voted during early voting, at your local polling place on Election Day, or by mail, we want to hear about your experience. Please complete one of the two survey options below.

Two Survey Options—Please Complete One by November 17

The 2020 blind and low-vision voter experience survey consist of two separate surveys. Please complete one of the following:

*	If you voted absentee or by mail using an accessible electronic ballot delivery system or a traditional paper ballot, please complete the survey for blind and low-vision voters who voted absentee or by mail at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YJJL7GN <https://www.nfb.org/libraries/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=19044&qid=4534672>
*	If you are a blind or low-vision voter who voted at an early voting center or at a polling place on Election Day, please complete the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NGFMPF2 <https://www.nfb.org/libraries/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=19045&qid=4534672>

Survey Results

The results of this survey will be provided to state election officials, state protection and advocacy agencies, and voting rights advocates to help improve the accessibility of future elections. Free White Cane Program

The National Federation of the Blind has distributed more than 64,000 free white canes since 2008.

The white cane gives blind people the ability to achieve a full and independent life, allowing us to travel freely and safely. We started our free white cane program because we believe that no blind person should be without a white cane, regardless of his or her ability to pay for it.

You can request a Free White Cane at the below link.
