[NFBofSC] APA FOrmatting

Hi,

I'm not sure if I'm reaching out to the right place for this but if not, I
figure someone here could point me in the right direction.
I'm an online student studying Psychology and recently, in one of my
courses, we had to select the correctly formatted APA citation from the
multiple choice options. Is there a way to independently identify italics
and other formatting without needing to get sighted assistance? I had
someone help me narrow down my options by telling them what I was looking
for but I want to be able to figure this out on my own for future reference.
If it helps, I use JAWS and this was in Chrome. I tried using the font
command with JAWS (JAWS Key+F) but that did not provide any useful
information. I know text analyzer only functions in edit fields, from what
I've read and trying to use it myself on web-pages. I tried to use Skim
Reading but I'm not sure I set up the rules I wanted correctly because it
did not find what I was looking for. Well, it did, but not narrowed down to
the solitary choice I was trying to select.
Thanks for any responses/suggestions.
Christina
