Can we all acknowledge the hard work of the Cooks? I mean, they rarely get
credit for the work they do behind the scenes.

For me, Steve has been a good friend since my time as an employee at the
commission. In fact, I can say that my participation in the SC affiliate is
due in large part to Steve who encouraged me to reconnect with the
federation. He also informed me that there was an NFB Muslims Group on the
national level to make sure that I felt included in whichever way I decided
to participate.

Since leaving the commission Steve and Shannon have become an even bigger
resource and friends to me. I think sometimes we expect the hard work that
they put in and don't acknowledge or show appreciation for what they do
enough.

I say all of this to say, thanks Cooks!

Hi Federation Family!

I know typically, I have sent out the events for the current month by now.
The reason in which I have not done this is I know Marty as our new State
President and he will have to review the Committees, then assign chairs for
each Committee. Once this has been done, events for the month will be sent
out.
