ODOT: Planning Today for Tomorrow’s Transportation System

As a rider and advocate for RTA you have an opportunity to express
your opinion regarding the State’s lack of support for public transit.
Access Ohio is ODOT’s long-range transportation plan. It will be used
to guide the State’s transportation policies and investment strategies
for the next 20 years.

As part of the long-range planning process, ODOT has scheduled a
series of public meetings throughout the State. Here in Greater
Cleveland, the meeting has been set for Tuesday, May 15 at the Shaker
Heights Public Library, located at 16500 Van Aken Blvd. The meeting is
scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM, with a presentation at 5:30 PM followed
by public comment.

We encourage you to be engaged in the process. If you can’t attend the
meeting, please take a few minutes to complete ODOT’s on-line survey.

Again, this plan will represent the State’s road map for both
transportation policy and funding for the foreseeable future. So ODOT
needs to hear from you.

Thank you for your continued support of transit. And we hope to see
you on the 15th.
