The blind of South Carolina would like to welcome you to the Rocky Bottom
Retreat and Conference Center of The Blind (RBRCCB). RBRCCB is located in
the scenic mountains of northern Pickens County; on route to the summit of
Sassafras Mountain. This 30-acre site is the perfect setting for
professional functions, recreational activities and a place for you and
others to relax and catch your breath. Its natural location is enhanced by
two richly flowing streams which bound the camp property, offering
delightful acoustic and scenic beauty. You need to see it to believe it.

Rocky Bottom Retreat and Conference Center of the Blind (RBRCC) is a
year-round facility, owned and operated by the National Federation of the
Blind of South Carolina.

In cooperation with local volunteers across the state, the National
Federation of the Blind of SC developed Rocky Bottom Retreat and Conference
Center to be a leisurely getaway. Since 1979, the members of the NFB of SC
have built, managed, and maintained the facilities and grounds of this
awesome retreat. An eight-member Board of Directors, made up of prominent
local community leaders and members of The National Federation of The Blind,
work in cooperation, to make Rocky Bottom an ideal mountain retreat.

Many individuals, organizations, non-profit groups, churches, scouts and
others enjoy the pristine, secluded mountain setting. The NFB of SC members
utilize Rocky Bottom retreat year-round to hold children's camp, two
sessions of senior camp for blind senior adults 55 and over, fishing
expeditions, seminars, board meetings, and retreats for local chapters.
Rocky Bottom is available for rental by groups, families, friends, or just
to get away alone. We'd love an opportunity to host you at our facility.

Our rental prices are comparable to that of other retreats and conference
centers. Along with privacy and majestic views of surrounding landscapes,
this is an amazing opportunity to get a view of nature in all of its glory.
With the metropolitan city of Greenville, within driving distance and
private trails just steps away, there is something everyone can enjoy. Rocky
Bottom is a fabulous example of the best South Carolina's natural scenery
has to offer.
