[NFBOH-Cleveland] Cleveland Chapter' presenting a 2023 Angel Child

Good Afternoon Cleveland Members and Friends,

 

Last year, the President, Lee Martin from the Circle City Chapter in the
Indiana Affiliate, joined our meeting and presented the Angel Child Program
that they facilitate each Christmas season.

 

The Cleveland Chapter made a decision to participate in this wonderful
opportunity that will afford a family love, support and a financial
contribution.

 

This year, Cleveland will present to Ivory Thomas, who is a member of the
Miami Valley Chapter $200. She has a ten year old son, Iven. Ivory is
visually impaired and losing more vision. She is currently learning Braille
from the teachings of Mariann Denning and Barbara Pierce.  

 

Cleveland has gathered funds from our treasury, Dr. Peters and a few
members. If you would like to contribute our of your own pocket any amount,
you can Zelle or cashap me. Any amount over $200 will be used for door
prizes at the event. So, if you are present, you can win a door prize for
being in the room.

 

 

The event will be held this weekend.

The objective of the NFB Circle City Chapter of Indiana's Angel Child
Gifting & Service Awards is to collectively celebrate the lives of families
and children during the Holiday Season, lift up families in need with a
small financial gift, and to recognize those who have served in the
advancement  of our community.
