Hello everyone.

We have 2 exciting informational virtual meetings coming up this week that
will be hosted on the Zoom platform.

First, On Monday April 13, we will have guest presenter Dr. Mary Kay
Gumerlock, who will share information about the Covid-19 virus. She will
cover the basics of transmission, symptoms, prevention and explain how
social distancing helps to flatten the curve. Obviously, there is
information everywhere about Covid-19 and maybe you've heard it all, but Dr.
Gumerlock will be able to explain and share information to us that is
frequently shared in charts and graphs that are inaccessible to us. This is
the place to get all the info you might be missing because so much of the
information is visual. There will also be time for questions and answers
about the virus. Here is the Zoom invitation for the Covid-19 discussion:

Next up, On Thursday, April 16, we will have a chat all about Braille. Do
you have too much spare time on your hands? Have you thought about learning
Braille at home or practicing to improve your existing Braille skills? Join
our Braille discussion and hear about resources for learning at home. Get
tips and strategies from Braille users who learned as adults and understand
the challenges involved. Most importantly, come talk to some Federationists
who are really passionate about Braille and want you to know that you can
learn it or improve your existing skills. Here is the Zoom invitation for
