Job Summary:
Coordinates all activities and functions associated with the Human
Services department programs. Performs operational and administrative
work in the planning, development, coordination, implementation, and
monitoring of the programs. Ensures that program goals and objectives
are accomplished in accordance with established priorities. Supervises
program staff.
Essential Functions:
• Coordinates, supervises, trains, monitors, and evaluates activities
and staff for Life Skills programming, Support Groups, Access
Technology, Orientation and Mobility, and Occupational Therapy.
• Develops and schedules daily operations and coordinates program
activities.
• Assists in determining program priorities.
• Monitors client eligibility and reassessments.
• Oversees the preparation, coordination, and implementation of
individualized rehabilitation plans for BBVS referred clients, State
Funded Specialized Service clients, and fee for service clients.
• Develops and maintains positive working relationships with service
providers from other agencies and organizations.
• Maintains communication with the PA Bureau of Visual Services and
oversees compliant billing standards.
• Ensures individual training requirements for all credential required
staff positions are complete and current.
• Monitors compliance with program requirements set forth by governing
agencies and funding sources.
• Assists and reviews all curriculum development for Access Technology
Center and related programs.
• Assists Life Skills Managers with curriculum development, program
planning, and client related needs.
• Reviews new client intake packets and participates in the
determination of services.

• Life Skills Educator
• Life Skills Managers
• Group Facilitator
• Mobility Instructor
• AT Instructor
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Public Administration or related field
• Three to five years’ experience in public administration or related
field preferre
• Non-profit experience preferred
• Minimum of three years in supervisory capacity
Job Type: Full-time
