We are looking for an Technical Content Writer to join our team of
professionals. This individual is responsible for developing a wide
variety of high-quality, high-engagement content for self-paced online
courses related to Digital Accessibility. Our team is highly creative
and passionate about creating exceptional products that make a difference.
About You…

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail, ensuring grammatically correct, technically
accurate, and usable/concise product document is generated
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members
Self-motivated and highly organized, with exceptional follow-through,
initiative, and commitment to excellence
Excellent time management skills
Experience in engaging stakeholders and subject matter experts to
complete high quality outcomes
Proven innovative design approach that is not constrained by available tools
Knowledge of adult learning principles and an ability to explain
concepts clearly and tailor information for the applicable target audience
Excellent computer and instructional design technology skills including
video and other digital technologies (Microsoft Office, PowerPoint,
Excel are required.) The ability to navigate authoring tools is required
Hands-on experience with Moodle Learning Management Software (LMS)
Job Responsibilities:

Create course curriculums, material and construct creative questions to
assess student learning using proven methodologies including the
comprehensive integration of digital technologies (Markdown documents,
instructional videos, interactive assessments, gamification, e-learning,
etc.) to achieve desired learning outcomes
Synthesize relevant data from internal and external sources
Partner with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to vet and
align content integrity; conduct independent research as needed
Ensure academic integrity through peer-review, providing and receiving
constructive feedback to ensure the highest quality content
After the course launches, utilize student learning data and other forms
of feedback to update and enhance the content further toward
unprecedented levels of efficacy
Organize physical and digital resources for training staff. Design and
develop live virtual learning and classroom materials including slide
decks, activity sheets, facilitator guides
Research and evaluate new and emerging technologies, instructional
design theories, and innovative approaches for potential application
Upload training into Learning and Management System (LMS). Create
training modules and organize content in a way that is most efficient
for staff understanding
Work closely with Content Team to facilitate and improve processes for
course development
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in English, Education, Instructional Design, or related
field
Must have 3+ years as a writer in educational publishing, educational
technology, or comparable field (experience excluded lesson plans or
curriculum as teacher/educator)
Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in English, Education, Instructional Design, or related field
Hands-on experience with Markdown
Knowledge of the W3C WCAG Standard
