[NFBSATX] Texas State NFB Convention details being held November 11 to 13

Please read the following announcement carefully if you plan on
attending the Texas State NFB Convention in November. If you are a
current chapter member with your 2022 dues paid (check with me if you
are not sure), the chapter will reimburse you for your $25 convention
registration fee. To get reimbursed you must do the following:
1 Have your dues paid by the October Chapter meeting
2 Email your registration receipt for the convention no later than
November 3rd to wenintex at gmail.com
3 Pick up your money at a designated place and time at the convention itself
4 The registered person must be the person picking up the money
(you will forfeit the funds if you do not pick up the money at the convention)

Location:
Double Tree located near Hobby Airport in Houston
8181 Airport BLVD
room rates $89 plus tax per night if reservation made by October 1
Choice of 1 King or 2 double beds
automatically makes reservation from 10th to 13th (3 nights ) so
change dates before you enter information or you will have to reenter
it

$25 advance registration fee or $30 in person
Banquet fee $40 in advance or $45 in person
 advance registration open until November 8 at 5pm
 all attendees must wear masks unless you have applied for a waiver and
you must have a negative covid test
free covid tests can be ordered at 800-232-0233
extra masks will be available for attendees
