Streets in this area will remain closed through the Monday morning commute. I-5 southbound off-ramp will also still be closed.

> For the remainder of Sunday and into the Monday morning commute, transit riders should
> expect longer than normal travel times for all bus routes that travel through or near the
> Mercer and Valley street areas between I-5 and Westlake, where streets remain closed
> after Saturday’s crane accident.
>
> Expect significant delays; allow plenty of time
> While most Metro routes do not use Mercer Street, transit riders can expect significant
> delays due to other traffic that will be diverted from that area onto adjacent streets. Any
> route traveling south on I-5 will likely experience delays until the ramp at Mercer Street is
> re-opened.
>
> All commuters and drivers are encouraged to avoid this area if possible.
>
> North end commuters are encouraged to consider alternate options, such as using a
> different mode of travel, traveling at different times, working from home if possible and not
> driving alone, especially through the affected area.
>
> Transit operation in this area is subject to change without notice if conditions in the
> affected area change.
>
> All commuters should watch media reports, be aware of conditions and allow plenty of extra
> time.
>
> Routes 63 & 64
> Metro routes 63 and 64 to Frist Hill will be affected Monday morning and will likely miss their
> Fairview Av N stops, but are expected to serve their Capitol Hill and First Hill stops. The
> exact details, however, are not yet known. Route 63 and 64 riders who normally board or
> exit on Fairview should have an alternate plan for Monday morning and watch for a Transit
> Alert with updates.
>
> RapidRide C Line
> While Metro’s RapidRide C Line continues to be on a minor reroute near its South Lake
> Union terminal, only one stop is now missed. Heading north toward South Lake Union,
> the C Line is not serving the stop northbound on Westlake Av N at Mercer St. Riders may
> board or exit at their usual stops on Westlake Av N south of Republican St or at the stop
> northbound on Fairview Av N just north of Valley St. Heading toward West Seattle, the
> C Line is serving all regular stops.
