Seattle City Council district boundaries are changing in January 2024. Seattle’s population has grown a lot in the last 10 years so the city has to redraw the district lines to make each district has roughly the same amount of people in it. City Council elections are this fall. The primary is August 1 and the general election is November 7. The neighborhood where you live might be represented by a different City Council person. The link below takes you to a page with descriptions of each council district and the neighborhoods they will include. The maps also have a list of the neighborhoods included in each district.

I hope this is helpful. Please feel free to ask any questions. We could also talk about this at a future chapter meeting if people want.
