Hello everyone,

 

We at VRCBVI are excited to announce the 2017 Learning Independence, Feeling
Empowered!  (LIFE) program.  The LIFE program is a five-week fun-filled and
thought-provoking program for blind and vision impaired high school students
who want to focus on developing blindness skills and who want to participate
in real world work experiences in the community.

 

For the last two years, we have had a waiting list for the program.  We
encourage interested students to get their applications in as soon as
possible.

 

For your convenience, we have attached all information that will be
necessary to apply for the 2017 LIFE program.  These items include:  the
2017 LIFE flyer, the 2017 LIFE application, the DBVI Eye Exam Report, and
the Health Checklist-General Medical Examination form.  Please feel free to
share this information with parents and students.  We will have updated
information on our website, vrcbvi.org by Monday, March 6.

 

Please review the flyer and the application carefully, and if you have any
questions, do not hesitate to let me know.
