Wow!  Check out the Spotlight On section this week. Movies, food, Diversity
and more.

 

Spotlight On.

 

Join the diversity and inclusion committee on Tuesday, March 9 at 7 PM
Eastern time. We will be discussing two of our subcommittees.

The multi disability and the LGBTQ subcommittees. We will have a panel
discussion with opportunities to ask questions.

Everybody is welcome and we ask for your participation. We take pride in our
diverse and inclusive state affiliate.

So mark your calendar's to join us!

 

Women's History Month with our Potomac Chapter movie matinee, starting at
1:00 pm Hidden Figures. Please arrive ten minutes before the movie starts to
get settled in.

 

Ladies Night join the Virginia Affiliate every Saturday Night for good
times, laughter and conversation with your NFB girlfriends.  Beginning at 7
pm, grab a  drink and snacks get comfy and This week's theme is food.  What
are your favorite recipes,  restaurants, etc. What's cooking at your house?

 

The next Tidewater Chapter of the NFB of Virginia is scheduled for Saturday,
March 20, 2021 from 1:30 PM to 3 PM..  The meeting will take place
virtually.  Mr. Keith Johnson, Head of Paratransit services for Hampton
Roads Transit will be our guest speaker for this meeting.  This should be of
interest to any public transit users in Hampton Roads!  

 

The NFBV Seniors Division is proud to present:

 

The Blind History Lady, also known as Peggy Chong, NFB of Colorado.

She will share stories of blind Virginians and other people from previous
generations along with their "trials, triumphs and tenacity." We will see
how they were like our ancestors, even though they were blind.

Please join the Seniors Division for this free event.
