Greetings Federation family!

I am so excited to be with you all this weekend for our annual state
convention. If you're like me, you're thinking about what you need to pack,
what is too much to pack, and making sure you at least have one pair of
comfy clothes. As you're packing up for a weekend of empowerment, don't
forget to pack up those canes that could use a new home. We are pleased to
have You Cane Give as one of our convention sponsor this year. You Cane Give
is a 501(c) three that strives to put a cane in the hand of every blind
person around the world. To date we have refurbished and distributed 2567
white canes in 36 countries. We additionally distributed 536 solar powered
players that come loaded with the holy Bible and the Care and Feeding of the
long white cane so individuals around the world know how to keep their canes
in great shape. 

 

Whether you have a good cane, an old cane, or broken cane parts, we will
gladly take them off your hands. We are additionally accepting cane tips.
When you donate a cane, you will be entered into a drawing for $150 to be
used at the custom cane shop. Please bring your cane to the information
table and if you wish to be entered into the drawing, please text or email
me at the information below. On behalf of the YCG team, thank you for your
donations and for helping blind people around the world become independent
travelers.
