Subject: Please Read! This Could Change Your Life and the Life of a Blind
Child!

Good Morning,

Guess what happens in less than two days! Give up?

By this time Monday, August 11, the Northern Virginia Braille Enrichment for
Literacy and Learning (BELL) Program with six students will be underway.

Why am I telling you this? Blind adult role models are an important part of
the BELL Program. While the program teaches independence and skills to
blind children to help them become competent blind adults, what better way
to learn how to be a competent blind person than to spend time with
competent blind adults - like you.

So, as you consider your busy schedules during the next two weeks, please
ask yourself: "Do I have time, even an hour or two, to spend with some
eager blind children and mentor them?" If the answer is "Yes" please
contact: nancyyeager542 at verizon.net or (703) 283-2524.

Thanks.

Nancy Yeager, Coordinator

Northern Virginia BELL Program
