Please see the attached documents related to the auction. One is an invitation, listing the date, time, location, and other important details ($20) per person to cover refreshments and rental of the space, for example). 
Also attached is a solicitation letter which you could use to encourage merchants to donate auction items: gift cards, gift baskets, services, goods, etc. 
Please also be sure to list your auction item at the below site, with a description that will entice bidding, a suggested starting bid, and the chapter you wish to benefit from your auction item. 
Feel free to make a more personal and direct auction item offering: home-baked items, gently used or never-used electronics, jewelry, clothing or accessories, assistance with technology, and so on.
