Good afternoon, members and friends. We will meet tomorrow from 7 to 9 in person at St. George's Episcopal Church, 915 N. Oakland Street, Room 114, in Arlington and over Zoom with that information at the bottom of this announcement.

We have talked about planning an activity for children and tomorrow promptly at 7, Jodi Nicholson, a teacher of blind students at the Arlington Public Schools and one of our recent Teachers of Tomorrow participants, will tell us what she does with these students and what kinds of things we might consider to recognize their accomplishments this year, celebrate the end of a school year and get ready for summer! Jodi is passionate about what she does and is excited to be working with us.

In addition to auction committee details, Delegate Hope has been invited to join our May 8 chapter meeting and it would be great if we had a large crowd in person to express our appreciation to him for his efforts and the passage of HB516.

We have lots of other agenda items including election of officers and board members for the next year and if you have not paid your dues yet, join us anyway; all are welcome.

I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow; please join Zoom at 6:45 so we can start promptly and plan to arrive at the church earlier if possible.
