 Call to Order

- Recite NFB pledge:  pledge to participate actively in the efforts of the
National Federation of the Blind to achieve equality, opportunity, and
security for the blind; to support the policies and programs of the
Federation; and to abide by its constitution.”

- Go around and ask everyone how they're doing (ice breaker)

- Vote on meeting minutes from board meeting and treasurer’s report

-Discuss Scholarship status

-Discuss new chapter listserv

Upcoming events:

-State convention Oct 30th-Nov 2nd Discuss transportation and deadline
reminders


-Chris speaking at the SoCo Sept Coffee event Wednesday  September 24th
event 10am-3pm (speaking engagement from 10am-12pm)1810 Roberts St,
Winchester, VA 22601


-Blind/Low Vision Technology Demonstration organized by Rodney and
Bill, Wednesday
September 24th event starting at 1pm. In the  Apple Blossom Room of Shenandoah
Valley Westminster Canterbury, 300 Westminster Canterbury Drive,
Winchester, VA


 -White cane awareness event partnering with the Lions club. Saturday,
October 4, 2025 from 9:30 AM to one or 2 PM. The location is on the walking
mall in front of the courthouse and the More memorial museum area.


-Chris speaking at the Rotary Club of Frederick County. Tuesday October 7
at 7:30 AM.


-Discuss and vote on chapter constitution amendments:
