[Njtechdiv] question about the I pad please

You can check notifications by holding down the Home button and asking Siri, “check my notifications”. Sorry not certain about deleteing them after this.

I have a question about the I pad 
This is what I am asking about 
I get c n n up dates or it says you have 12 notification  on my I pad  
I know how to open the notification   so it reads each head line 
two things how do I open it up to listen to it  and how do I delete them please
