Here are some instructions that Rita wrote from listening to this podcast. 
These are instructions for using VoiceOver.

If you just want to quickly delete a specific e-mail:  Go to the list of 
e-mails and flick up on the specific e-mail you wish to delete and perform a 
one finger double tap when you hear the "delete" command.

To "unsubscribe" from a specific sender of e-mail marketing:  Open the 
e-mail. Search for the "unsubscribe button.

Perform a 4 finger single tap gesture to get to the bottom of the screen. 
flick left to get to the "unsubscribe link.

Perform a one finger double tap to open that unsubscribe link.  flick to the 
confirm to opt out from the subscription from that sender of the e-mail, and 
use a one finger double tap gesture to verify that you wish to opt out of 
receiver future e-mails.
