Hi Lois.
Do you have any recommendations for Bluetooth scanning apps?
A list member from the Electronics-Talk list helped me solve my problem. It
required deleting and re-adding my Fitbit, which was a pain because the
process isn't very accessible, but I got it done and now I'm back in
business.

I have an Android phone and often have syncing problems with my fitbit. I
suspect the problem is the bluetooth connection. What seems to help is if I
run a bluetooth scanning app. Even if that app doesn't seem to see my
fitbit, after I run it, the fitbit is much more likely to sync. I have no
idea why this works, but guess that somehow the bluetooth needs a "kick."

Does anyone have knowledge of the ins and outs of a Fitbit? Mine won't sync
with my iPhone. I have tried all the advice I find through Google, and none
of it has solved the problem. The Fitbit is working fine; it just won't
sync. I wish I could talk to someone at Fitbit, but I don't find any
customer service number.
If anyone can help, please contact me offlist at Carcione at access.net.
Sure hope someone can help, or send me to someone who can.
