I also think it would be a great idea for those who are getting ready to
become teachers would contac ttheir local schools and ask to observe one
or more teachers in their particular content area. This will allow to
see more than one method for teaching a particular subject actually
being put into action and the benefits and pitfalls of them. I know the
schools around here are more than welcome to help out an aspiring
teacher.
