[nobe-l] cell phones in the classroom

Hi Chris and all, 

Alas, I have not developed any measures against cheating. Usually the questions I ask on my cell phone quizzes are so obscure and individualistic that it would be difficult for students to cheat. I also make the quizzes very brief. 

I figure if students are going to cheat, they’re going to cheat. And I would say that my attitude about cell phones is the same; the only reason I even punish the students is because the cell phones are distracting for other students and for me.
