Hello again my husband had a stroke about three months ago he always could
read to me the cangoods boxes of food and what it was but now he is not
able to do this stuff for me I told my counselor this this and to ask her
if there was a way for me to figure out what was in the boxes and cans she
told me to get a I Phone well I cant afford one I just was just so
disappointed with the things she was saying like there was no hope for
myproblem my hubby is ten years older theni and is not well so I need to
get more independent for myself I want to learn brail so bad and Coleene
Roth said she would try to teach me I hope I can do it I just feel like I
need to get things moving that is why I called the sight cen5ter and
mycounslor to learn more the homemaking things they are telling me are not
working theybrought me a device to fold t shirts but I told them to take it
back it was a waste of money I can fold a t shirt hhahaha it is the other
things I need to live and to be independent I hope you understand what I
mean mymedicne is really bothering me my best friend helps me but ifeel
like such a burden asking for her help all the time

Dawn, your counselor is misinformed. There should be a rehabilitation
teacher at the center. It is Prodigy count-a-dose and I very easily found
it. You can mix your insulin if needed. You could at least draw up the 45
units with it. I would ask about an insulin pen for the 100 units. Don't
give up. Tell your counselor that is not a workable solution. Shame on
her/him for suggesting such a thing.
Those type of answers only work if we allow them to work. Is your counselor
blind?
