Totally agree with you. however if some of us are willing to stoke the
fire, let's do it!
One of the things Toledo folks can do is to approach board president
and suggest forming consumer council committee. We have this and has
become a useful tool, offering guidance, sugggestions, constructive
critisim to agency. There should be a group of blind people that
understand the structure of agency, financially and operationally to
communicate what is acceptable and reasonable to consumers and agency.
You are right. It is difficult if you don't understand or not aware of
how much to expect from training. Thank god for nfb and this list for
others to share concerns. Every now and then, we are too passive,
sometimes a good fight can change that attitude.
