Hello I am in the homemaker program this is what they do Monica refers me
to the sight center Megan is the homemaker lady it is now called
opportunities for Ohioians with disabilities hope I got it right any ways
that is what I amall ready doing it is so strange I have a mobility
instructor and computer trainer that comes from Columbus and the homemaker
comes from the Sight Center the home maker program is what I am doing not
too impressed this is really for low vision if you ask me and I am fifty
three years old don't qualify for the senior program but I would of done
it if did thanks Dawn

Does your friend, Dawn have an open case with BSVI? She could as a
homemaker. If not, is she in the senior blind program? Either way, there
is funding available. I know funding is always a concern and I don't have a
problem with that but meeting consumer needs is equally important. Is there
a consumer advisory committee? If not, it might be a great idea to approach
them about starting one.
