Dear Supporters,

https://www.schwans-cares.com/campaigns/21538

We are at Day 31 into our Schwans Cares campaign to support the National Federation of the Blind of Ohio and today Billie Graham shopped from Schwans Cares again. Thank you, Billie, for your continued support! Additionally, thank you Shelbi for mentioning Schwans Cares in your previous posting. Scripp, Schwans Cares, J.W.'s concerts, all helps with our fundraising efforts.

As of today, the tally stands at $284, and we have 14 days left to get that amount to $300 and above. Will you help your fellow supporters and shop at Schwans Cares?

Perhaps you might be hesitant about buying from Schwans Cares, thinking that you might not like the food or that Schwans can't accommodate your dietary restrictions. Schwans has meals to address diets low in calorie, gluten-free, low-carb, and heart-healthy offerings.

Perhaps you might not want to shop at Schwans Cares because you live alone and most of the grocery portions are too large for you to store. If this is the case, please go to

and look for the LiveSmart (R) meals for one or two. Many meals can be tailored for one or two even if portions of meat, poultry, fish or vegetables serve many more. Simply store the remaining portions in a freezer bag for future use.

Just imagine coming home from work. You've had a hard day, and now, you have to cook. You look at that stove and all your energy is suddenly drained as you think about how much more work you have to do to have a nourishing meal. How about skipping all that and reaching into your fridge for a tasty, nutritious, and fast dinner? You can, if you keep a supply of Schwans groceries. There's no need to go to the supermarket or to the convenience store when Schwans groceries are conveniently in your freezer coming to your rescue!

there are two components to the Schwans Cares fundraising program:
First, there is the active period, which lasts 45 days. During this time, the affiliate will receive 20% of any groceries you order. You can also buy an eGift card, which is worth 40% to the affiliate. For instance, if you buy a $25 eGift card, the affiliate will get $10 from that transaction. EGift cards can only be purchased online for $25 during the 45-day active period, and only one to a customer per campaign. If you use your eGift card to purchase products, the 20% amount of your order will not be included because the initial 40% contribution was already made when you purchased your eGift card. In other words, eGift cards cannot be combined with any other offer.

Second, there is an "annuity" period, which lasts 90 days. During this period, any order you place will benefit the affiliate by 5%.

The active campaign period will end in 14 days on Thursday, September 10, 2015. The "annuity" period will start after that and will go on for 90 days until December 10, 2015. Unlike Malley's, which restricts the types of items you can order, Schwans makes all its products available to you, and, at the same prices as non-participating customers.
