[Ohio-talk] the sight center call center

Hello,
I was told by my mentor from a mentoring project that the Sight
Center is hiring 20-30 telephone workers, some from home and some
from the office. I plan to let them know that I'm only
interested in a work at home opportunity (the FAQ page of the
call center page said to do this if you were only interested in a
work at home opportunity). I also play to update my application.
However, I was wondering if anyone on this list has ever done the
work at home or know someone who has. What was it like? I have a
computer with JAWS, although I'd need to get a different version
so it's compatible with their system. The work at home
requirements state that cellphone service is required, but I'm on
a phone plan that does not have unlimited minutes so this would
be a problem. However, I am getting a box that you plug a
landline phone into and I get my own phone number. I think it's
a landline cellphone combination. Do you think they would permit
this? As far as I know, I could probably still use the headset
with it. As I said, I'd consider this opportunity if I could
just get a work at home opportunity. Any information would be
greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Kelsey Nicolay
