Happy new year,
I appreciate the input regarding transportation, however I wanted to let everybody know that transportation is of high importance to the legislative team. In fact I only author of the resolution that we passed this past convention regarding transportation. I also wanted to let everybody know that both Sherry and I gave testimony regarding transportation for the last budget cycle. I plan to follow the resolution that wePast this last convention. I do want to request that everybody start to prepare a testimony to submit regarding transportation for this next budget it’s all about numbers numbers numbers. We present a stronger case when we can show everybody in the general assembly the transportation matters, and how do we do that by showing overwhelming concern. When we only submit a few written testimony then this does not look like it is a major concern. Insured I am encouraging everybody to submit testimony when we called for it. Stories stories of how the transportation in packs our lives and all of Ohio wins lives present a moving issue for the General assembly. I would encourage everybody to start working on gathering testimony from every member of the affiliate. If you have others that you are associated with such as transportation groups starting curry gene them to develop testimony. This is how we get things done.

Hi Michael,

It's great that we're covering HB309, but we need to point out to our
representatives and senators the value of public transportation. We need
next year's budget to reflect an increase in service. If the blind are to
get around independently, we need to encourage our legislators to increase
budget allotments to the major Ohio cities. Public transportation benefits
everyone. It reduces pollution, traffic and parking. I know I'm preaching
to the quire, but this topic merits attention.
