Hello Ohio,

For the past several months, I have been working closely with the National
Association of Blind Students on planning a virtual National Seminar for
2021. We have been working hard to ensure that this experience is just as
beneficial and fun as a traditional seminar would be. We are bringing on
amazing speakers, having engaging programming, and having spaces where
students can connect with others. Please see the below forwarded email for
more details on how to register for the seminar, and make sure to spread
the word to any blind student you may know!

Today marks the halfway point in the month of October, and for many of us,
the peak of midterm season. In this virtual world we are living in, NABS has
been missing the opportunity to gather at regional seminars across the
country to share our experiences in the classroom and beyond; yet, the need
for our community is stronger than ever!



For this reason, we are so excited to be launching our first ever virtual
NABS At Large Seminar entitled Speaking Up and Branching Out, focused on
encouraging students to own their voices. Please be sure to get registered
and pass along the below information and attached flyer far and wide.
