Good afternoon,
You are correct.Internet Explorer is not the area that you would want to access the information. If you’re able to get in the window search box by pushing the windows button start typing this computer or this PC and it will allow you to select that option. This should bring up the different locations within your computers hard drive. You an arrow down until you get to the one that indicates your computer’s disk drive and hear the name of the document. That would allow you to hit enter to open it. Hope this helps.

I honestly think it is the computer. I believe I need to get to the removable disk.  File explorer does not sound right. Hitting the windows key and the letter E is not working.

I wonder if it’s a formatting issue like they have put it in a format that your computer doesn’t support. Do you have it turned on where it tells you if it’s a dot doc. PDF or what type of file it is?

As some of you know you can request electronic format instead of paper from the Social Security Office. . I am trying to read the disk I received from the Social Security Office. Does anyone know how to read using JAWS?I see it in my dvd drive. But, for whatever reason I cannot open and read.
