I want to thank those of you who responded to my email regarding personal question I posed to this list. It turns out that glaucoma is not the cause of the pain but another complication of my eye condition phthisthis bulbi, which means shruken blind eye. I was given drops to help with the pain. It was explained this the first course of action to pursue. If the pain is so severe, people decide to enuclate the painful eye. I just hope I will never have to come to such a state. Anyone understand a bit more about thois eye condition and know of good opthalmologist that understand this condition in new york city that you can with a respected hospital.
