Please write a letter to BANA and ask they to postpone their vote,
although since they did NOT release this article as a Press release, I
think their minds are made up with total disregard to what the majority
of folks want. Remember, they are NOT a government agency and have no
legal authority. In addition, please consider expressing your
thoughts/concerns to your state and federal educational agencies.

Wow, it makes more sense to me to use one system for text rather than
use UEB for text and the Nemeth rules that govern text surrounding math.
Why should we have to deal with UEB text plus Nemeth rules for text
surrounding math? It is my impression, though, that there is still work
being done to figure out where the line should be drawn between the two.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson
