I don't see your question, but I have never heard of this and I would never do this. It is not a TVI's role/responsibility to do screenings on non sped VI or potential VI kids. Is this the routine screenings school nurses do??

Subject: [Pibe-division] question

Currently my district has VI teachers helping nurses complete eye screenings including students who are not special education and there is no parental release for assessment. Our current teacher completing this assignment is completing a min-FVA with distance vision, tracking, pupil response, visual field test and the Hirschberg Corneal Light Relex test. It is considered a Functional Vision Screening.
