The low vision therapist posting in Des Moines requires a Class C
drivers license and Academy certification. The posting states that if a
Class C drivers license is not acquired within 30 days of hire, the
incumbent will be reassigned to a different position. This seems very
discriminatory and there is no statement regarding accommodation. I
found these facts very interesting given other federal government job
postings I have seen.
