RUBY 10: Portable Magnification with Speech

The video magnifier has a 10-inch touchscreen and three dedicated cameras, and it can magnify letters, magazines, labels, and photos. The swing-out arm allows you to view items in your hand and write. When extended, it also enables full-page OCR. With a button, you can scan pages and have them read aloud. The third camera can see objects at a short distance, such as signs and menus on a wall. Users can utilize cutting-edge magnification features with industry-leading OCR to maximize the reading experience. Graphs & Charts: Meeting WCAG 2.2 Level AA Requirements

Are you adding graphs or charts to your documents? It is crucial to ensure that your charts, such as bar charts, line graphs, and pie charts, meet the necessary Color Contrast Requirements. This includes meeting the requirements for the use of color (WCAG 1.4.1), text contrast (WCAG 1.4.3), and non-text contrast (WCAG 1.4.11). All images will also need meaningful alternative text to be considered accessible. Join Rachel Reeves from Access Ingenuity to look at good and bad examples of bar charts, pie charts, line graphs, and maps to learn how to have accessible graphs and charts.
