Good practice to maximize your window because some things do not behave correctly

Alt Space brings up command menu, then X to maximize window

Windows up arrow will maximize, but it does not tell you what happened.

Open browser, Ctrl L puts you in search and address bar, type in Longreads.com and press enter and it will say opening page. If you hear an alert, F6 to get there, hit F6 again to move on back to address bar. F6 will navigate you through many things on the website. If alert says allow or blcik you can tab to what you want. Ctrl F6 can help you get to the web content area. And remember that Ctrl L will always take you back to the search address bar.

Ctrl home will always take you to the top of the webpage. You could down arrow to get to everything on the web page but it could take you forever. Navigation links at the top and main content down below.

Enter key launches the link in that tab, Shift Enter launches link in new tab. Helps you not loose your place. Ctrl W will close the tab , same as Ctrl F4. H and Shift H navigates headings, use number 1 for that level heading, 2 for level 2, 3 for level 3 and so on. Do not click onl links that are not defined. Ctrl to stop reading and then INS down arrow to resume from that place.

End takes you to next, then Ctrl down arrow to read from there.

INS F7 to bring up a list of all the links, INS F6 will give you a list of the headings. They are only listed in the order on the page so it may not be easy unless you know what you are looking for. There are also some quick navigation keys, INS H gives quick navigation keys, look for those to move through a web page. JAWS Key Shift Ctrl H for laptop.
