They probably are, for the home market.  I think the brand name she mentioned is more for professional use.  But if it does what you need, then good.  Pam.

Hi Everyone, I’m Karen, a longtime member of the Krafters Division. A little more than a year ago I started making scratch sourdough bread, biscuits and pizza. For a while I was using a Kitchen Aid stand mixer but it conked out. I think it was not made for heavy doughs such as bread dough on a weekly basis. Does anyone have a stand mixer to recommend that is easy to use?
